Since we have been talking about traitors at Fox News….

This story from May 2013 at Powerline blog tweeted by Mickey Kaus just now follows on the same theme we reported yesterday—that Fox News (Rupert Murdoch) was in the tank for the Schumer-Rubio ‘Gang of Eight’ bill and was doing all it could to make you think that Marco Rubio was/is the great white hope for immigration reform.

Rubio, the cheerful leader of the Gang of Eight with Schumer and McCain, fears Senator Jeff Sessions!

This post is also intriguing on the morning after Senator Jeff Sessions (a champion for the American worker) endorsed Donald Trump for the Presidency (here).

I’ll say it again, whatever happens, we must thank Donald Trump for helping expose the establishment donor-class and how they (including Fox News!) have attempted to manipulate patriotic and good-hearted Americans for their own selfish goals and the financial advancement of globalist traitors.

Here is Paul Mirengoff at Powerline on May 24, 2013 (emphasis is mine):

Tonight, Sean Hannity had Marco Rubio on his show for an hour to advocate the Schumer-Rubio amnesty bill. The program was an embarrassment at two levels. First, as I feared, the format was heavily skewed in favor of Rubio and his position. Second, even with this skewing, Rubio’s main arguments were pathetic.

As to the format, Rubio spent roughly the first half of the program answering questions from Hannity. Some of the questions were good, but they were no substitute for debate. Hannity is not an expert on the legislation, and thus wasn’t in a position to challenge Rubio’s answers.

Why didn’t Fox have Jeff Sessions, for example, appear with Rubio to ensure the effective presentation of both sides? Probably because, as I understand it, Rubio refuses to appear with Sessions.

So can we expect an hour-long program in which Sessions or a comparably knowledgeable opponent of the anti-amnesty position appears with Hannity? Don’t hold your breath. The powers-that-be at Fox appear to be in the tank for the Schumer-Rubio bill.

Please America! No more boys (controlled by power hungry greedy globalists) in the White House!

Fox News, Rupert Murdoch agreed to manipulate viewers on amnesty issue

It is too late (I think) for Marco Rubio’s political career, but if any particular group is tagged with doing him in, it is those Senators (Schumer, McCain, Graham) he joined in his foolish ‘Gang of Eight’ venture and the leadership at Fox News!

Marco-Rubio-AP-Rupert-Murdoch-640x480
Poor Marco, used by all. I hope Murdoch can find a job for him. Hey, maybe as a fresh new face at News Corp. How about the Megyn and Marco show?

We have told you before about the role Fox News (Rupert Murdoch owner of Fox and the Wall Street Journal) is playing on immigration (AMNESTY) and now their attempted manipulation of conservative viewers and listeners on the subject is out in the open for the whole world to see—at of all places The New York Times.

The NYT reports that Fox viewership is down as viewers feel the vibes that Fox is in the tank for Rubio.

Get a load of this story yesterday by reporter Jason Horowitz:

A few weeks after Senator Marco Rubio joined a bipartisan push for an immigration overhaul in 2013, he arrived alongside Senator Chuck Schumer at the executive dining room of News Corporation’s Manhattan headquarters for dinner.

Their mission was to persuade Rupert Murdoch, the owner of the media empire, and Roger Ailes, the chairman and chief executive of its Fox News division, to keep the network’s on-air personalities from savaging the legislation and give it a fighting chance at survival.

Mr. Murdoch, an advocate of immigration reform, and Mr. Ailes, his top lieutenant and the most powerful man in conservative television, agreed at the Jan. 17, 2013, meeting to give the senators some breathing room.

But the media executives, highly attuned to the intensifying anger in the Republican grass roots, warned that the senators also needed to make their case to Rush Limbaugh, the king of conservative talk radio, who held enormous sway with the party’s largely anti-immigrant base.

Continue reading this bombshell story to see what happened next and how they attempted to manipulate conservative talk radio too.

By the way, the ‘Gang of Eight’ was not just about amnesty and the border. It would have expanded the role of the nine major refugee resettlement contractors (more $$$ would have gone to them) and they were all eager and out front lobbying for it.  See all ‘Gang of Eight’ posts at RRW by clicking here.  Some were tagged ‘Comprehensive Immigration Reform’ here.

Thank goodness ordinary Americans spotted the duplicity and helped kill this monster!

p.s. I was invited on Fox News one time to talk about one of Obama’s unilateral moves on refugees and at the end of the interview I went off script (producers had grilled me the day before to see what I would say to various questions that were never asked).  I said in the closing seconds of the interview:

“….immigration is our existential threat in this country, both the numbers and who we are bringing in.”

I believe that line ended my ‘career’ at Fox!  I didn’t make a distinction between ‘legal’ and ‘illegal’ immigration and I think they weren’t thrilled.

Have a look! Marco Rubio has a D score on NumbersUSA Presidential scorecard

If you are being persuaded by those slick ads on Fox News from Political Action Committees supporting the establishment candidate—Marco Rubio—please visit NumbersUSA, by clicking here and see where he stands on illegal and LEGAL immigration issues.

For me, immigration is the only issue that matters because once they change the demographics of America there will be no undoing the damage.

See my post yesterday—Koch Brothers making moves to throw their big money behind Rubio.  It is all about money for big business looking for a steady supply of immigrant laborers.

Mega-donors, Koch brothers, make first moves toward Rubio support

Surely this isn’t shocking news for most of you, but since we featured the Republican establishment donors, Charles and David Koch the other day, this update is in order.  The Kochs, like all of the large ruling class donors, want a candidate they can control….

Marc Short
Koch man, Marc Short, implanted in Rubio campaign—a sure sign of where the Republican big donor money is headed.

Unless something very dramatic happens for Ted Cruz, it looks like a massive battle is in the offing for the Republican Party between Marco Rubio, rapidly becoming the establishment elites’ favorite, and Donald Trump as the champion of those who want to throw the bums out.

And, just a reminder, Donald Trump was the man most feared by the wealthy globalists at Davos this year!

As we have said on many previous occasions (on facebook, on twitter and at RRW), Senator Marco Rubio went from being the Tea Party darling of 2010 to the water-carrier for the Open Borders Republicans (Gang of Eight in 2013!) and the Chamber of Commerce always looking for a ready supply of cheap immigrant labor.  [BTW, I would respect them more if they all just said that the amnesty agenda is about labor for big business, and stopped pretending they are humanitarians!]

So here is the story yesterday from Politico.  You will see that the Kochs aren’t going to make their final move into Rubio’s ranks unless/until Ted Cruz is out because many of the vaunted grassroots that the Kochs think they control are still Cruz fans.

Marc Short, the Koch brothers’ top political adviser in Washington and a trusted member of their inner circle for five years, is making a surprise move to the Marco Rubio campaign as a senior adviser as the Republican establishment ramps up efforts to stop Donald Trump.

Short — president of Freedom Partners, the Kochs’ umbrella political organization — will join the campaign in about a week and brings deep connections to the donor and grass-roots worlds. [Freedom Partners is more like a Chamber of Commerce, see here.  LOL! they all just love using buzz words like ‘freedom,’ ‘patriot,’ ‘grassroots,’ etc.—ed]

“Marc has been running the most sophisticated political operation for the last few cycles, and really knows the mood of the electorate,” said Scott Reed, senior political strategist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “This is a big sign of consolidation by the party.”

Charles and David Koch have not endorsed in the presidential race and are unlikely to while there are still multiple viable candidates running against Trump, according to GOP sources. Top backers in the brothers’ network include supporters of Rubio and Sen. Ted Cruz. Any decision to get involved in the nomination race would likely come only if it narrowed to Trump and one of those senators, the sources said.

Governor Haley and crew are the big losers in South Carolina

The South Carolina Republican establishment has shown itself to be paper tigers. Granted their man, Open Borders Marco, inched into 2nd place, but well behind the front leader, Donald Trump.

They could not deliver South Carolina!

Haley and gang
Rep. Trey Gowdy, Sen. Marco Rubio, Gov. Nikki Haley and Sen. Tim Scott (hovering behind them all is bring-in-more-Syrians Sen. Lindsey Graham).

In fact when you add up the percentages for the outsiders, those who want to shake up Washington (Trump, Cruz and Carson), a total of 61% of South Carolina voters said they didn’t care if Gov. Nikki Haley, Rep. Trey Gowdy and although not shown in the photo, Senator Lindsey Graham (a fellow member of the infamous Gang of Eight with Marco Rubio) supported Rubio or not!

Correction: A reader tells me that SC god-father Graham supported Jeb (for what good it did). You can be sure he is now on the Rubio train.

Lindsey Graham rubio
Senator Lindsey Graham exposed as weak in his home state!

Thank goodness for Donald Trump because he is helping all of us see the forces arrayed against America First Conservatives.

Indeed, the weakness of the hold the establishment has on South Carolina has been exposed!

I once had high hopes that Rep. Trey Gowdy, as chairman of the Immigration subcommittee in the House, would be helpful in investigating the UN/US State Department Refugee Admissions Program, but his lack of initiative even as refugees are moving into Spartanburg, and his endorsement of Rubio for President dispelled that crazy notion!

For more on Rubio, Graham, Haley and Gowdy as it relates to immigration/refugees please visit Refugee Resettlement Watch and search for their names.

Huma may be one of the most important reasons we should fear Hillary Presidency

That would be Hillary’s longtime aide Huma (Weiner) Abedin who would be in a critical position in the White House if Hillary wins the Presidency despite her longtime connections to the Muslim Brotherhood.

This is what Lee Stranahan writing at Breitbart told us earlier in the week (I’ve been awol this week).

huma and hillary
Keep these women out of the White House!

Stranahan also gives us a bit of history about Republican Washington insider Grover Norquist, so I’m suggesting we should also keep an eye on whoever Muslim apologist and Open borders agitator Norquist endorses for the Presidency.  We told you about him here (with Marco Rubio), here with Gov. Sam Brownback, and here with former Homeland Security chief, Tom Ridge.

Breitbart:

In Part One of this series, we looked at the people and events behind the history-making first White House Ramadan dinner, held in 1996 and hosted by Hillary Clinton — an event that revealed the shocking ignorance both Bill and Hillary Clinton had about Islam, especially in the light of events such as 1993’s attack on the World Trade Center.

As we detailed in Part One, that “Eid Dinner” event was put together by an organization called the American Muslim Council that was founded and headed by a man named Abdurahman Alamoudi.

Alamoudi, who is now serving a federal prison term for funding terrorism, was a political mover and shaker with ties to not just the Clinton White House, but later to the George W. Bush White House via Republican lobbyist Grover Norquist.

In 1996, Alamoudi was a key Muslim influencer with the Clinton administration. Aside from the Eid dinner, an organization Alamoudi ran was vetting Islamic Army chaplains for the U.S. military.

Another historically significant thing happened in 1996: A 20-year-old George Washington University student named Huma Abedin landed an almost impossible-to-get White House internship.

Rep. Michele Bachmann was right!  Shame on John McCain!

Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn. speaks at the 2014 Values Voter Summit in Washington, Friday, Sept. 26, 2014. Prospective Republican presidential candidates are promoting religious liberty at home and abroad at a gathering of evangelical conservatives, rebuking an unpopular President Barack Obama while skirting divisive social issues that have tripped up the GOP. (AP Photo/Manuel Balce Ceneta)
Vindicated! Bachmann was right about infiltration of federal government by Muslim Brotherhood operatives.

Some of you may not know that in 2012 former Presidential candidate and Representative Michele Bachmann warned America about Abedin’s connections that Stranahan reveals again, and that creep (yes, creep!) Senator John McCain went to the Senate floor (on behalf of Hillary!) to attack his fellow Republican Bachmann (here is one of many accounts).

Run like hell from any Presidential candidate McCain is endorsing.

Better still, Arizona voters should send McCain to retirement!

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, if Donald Trump had not come on the scene this election year, we would still be in the dark about who the real enemies of America are!

Bernie Sanders was on our side in 2007 debate on ‘Comprehensive Immigration Reform’

That was the attempt by the Bush Administration and Senator John McCain (for amnesty) that was roundly defeated by a massive grassroots effort that I see as the real beginning of the Tea Party movement that ultimately coalesced in 2009.

Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton at the CNN Democratic Debate at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas, Tuesday, October 13, 2015.
Bernie and Hillary go toe-to-toe about guest workers. Hillary wants more, Bernie has concerns for American workers and corporate abuse of the migrant workers.

In 2007, America First Conservatives (although we didn’t know that is really who we were) got a taste of citizen power in defeating that bill (later to be resurrected by the Gang of Eight/Marco Rubio bill that passed the Senate in 2013, but died in the House).

Imagine my surprise to see this story at Vox on Saturday that tells us that Senator Bernie Sanders and then Senator Hillary Clinton were on opposite sides of the debate over one important provision of the Bush-driven legislation.

Sanders was worried about the guest workers provision that could cause American workers to lose their jobs and followed the lead of the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) that saw the foreign workers (who would be admitted if the bill had become law) as “slave labor.”

Holy cow! I’m on the same side as Bernie Sanders and the SPLC on something!

On many occasions over the years at RRW, I and my readers (see one guest post here), have said that very same thing—refugees are slave laborers for big corporations that need cheap (captive) workers to boost their bottom lines. And, that is why there is so much resistance from some elected Republicans to rein any of it in—they get campaign contributions from big companies (often foreign-owned) and political power from Chambers of Commerce to keep the immigrant labor flow coming.

So here is Vox, read the whole thing:

Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders differ on how to get things done.

Clinton has billed herself as a pragmatist, willing to take the compromises that are available. Sanders, meanwhile, has positioned himself as an idealist more interested in reinventing the system than in slightly improving it.

This dynamic became clear again during Thursday night’s Democratic debate on PBS and CNN, when Clinton went after Sanders for opposing a 2007 bill that would have bolstered border security and given millions of undocumented immigrants some form of legal status.

“I voted for comprehensive immigration reform in 2007. Sen. Sanders voted against it at that time,” Clinton said. “I think we have to get to comprehensive immigration reform with a path to citizenship.”

Sanders countered: “The Southern Poverty Law Center, among other groups, said that the guest worker programs that were embedded in this agreement were akin to slavery. … Akin to slavery — where people came into this country to do guest work were abused, were exploited.”

For one telling of the history of that 2007 Senate debate between the Clinton/Bush position and the Sanders view of things, continue reading.

See also, NumbersUSA sees some common ground with Sanders. Although on their Presidential scorecard, Sanders has the lowest score of all those still in the 2016 contest.
